I've always loved drawing and painting, first dinosaurs and battle scenes at a young age, then more fantasy orientated as I found Dungeons & Dragons role play gaming at 14.

 

I took a different direction after college with an archaeology and ancient history degree, then years of fieldwork and learning archaeological illustration. All through this keeping an rpg group going when possible and doing artwork around that.

 

I always felt that I really wanted to work on my art and eventually pushed myself, putting in every hour I had spare, including when I should be sleeping. Learned from crits and feedback from people on sites like Concept Art and just kept painting. I seem to have found my own style and keep trying to catch up a little with the million things that I need to learn.
